The
main palace and its surrounding garden was constructed by
Thakur Sahib Pratap Singh of Diggi Family in the year 1881. The
architectural style is typical Rajputana prevlent during that time. The
grand “Darbar Hall” is an example of the art and fresco work of the
period. One of the economy but well positioned hotels in Jaipur, Diggi
Palace has 40 A/C and non A/C rooms. The hotel is located on the Sawai
Ram Singh Highway, not far away from main attractions. There are
facilities for horse riding, camel riding and jeep safari in the hotel
as well as choice of Indian, continental, Chinese and Regional cuisine.
The hotel is owned by one of the aristocratic families of Jaipur who
have converted one portion of their mansion in an inexpensive hotel.An
